Scenes from last weekend❤️

Spent all weekend with the girls (Rosie and Lucy) and got some great pics. They’re such characters! First pic is Rosie, next is Lucy, and so on.

Just got new x rays after 7 years. I feel overwhelmed

(29F), I just saw one of the top spine doctors in my city. He said the curve of my spine is about 85% and that surgery is certainly an option, but since my main complaint is related to pain rather than appearance, he suggests starting with PT (Schroth). He thinks everything looks pretty flexible and there’s potential for it to be improved or lessened or for the pain to go away. I’m not sure. I didn’t expect him to mention surgery. I’m supposed to try the PT and then go back in about 6 months to re check. I don’t even know what my question is here. The concept of spine surgery scares me. How will I know if/when it’s time to really consider that?

Have any of you done a post-grad fellowship/residency?

I’m a recent lmsw in nyc and currently looking for jobs in medical social work as that’s where my last internship was. However, I really want to develop my therapeutic skills as I don’t feel confident in that area at all, and I feel like the anxiety of that is limiting my job search. Have any of you completed any kind of fellowship or residency program post-grad (in any state)? Would you recommend it? Was it full time/part time/paid? Thanks so much

Sweet little Rosie

Sweet little baby Rosie❤️ she is my best friend, my sunshine, my baby. She has the purest heart and loves unconditionally and is always always full of joy. She even loves her mommy Lucy even though Lucy isn’t the most loving to her 😭

Pics of Lucy from this week

Lucy is 10 and I can’t even comprehend how much I love her. My love for her is so huge I can’t even handle it. I don’t even have words for it. I’ll make another post about her baby Rosie who is my sunshine. But I just really love these girls. Lucy’s personality can be described as needy lol. She follows me from room to room and hits me if I stop petting her. I wish she could live forever.
