Am i over investing?

M35

Salary Post Tax - 1.4 Lac

Expenses:

MF (INDIA) - 45K

US EQUITY - 15K

PPF - 5K

To Wife - 15K (for her personal expenses, she saves some of it)

Kid - 5K (play school fee + other related expenses)

Rent - 13K

Maid - 3K

Petrol - 1.5K

Grocery - 15K

Utilities - 3-5K

Eating Out/Shopping - 5K

Misc - 3K

I am left with approx - 15K which doesn't seem to be enough. A return flight for 3 to my Hometown costs 30K, i take two trips a year. One long and one short vacation in India every year. Plus social occasion such as Marriage/Events/Birthdays etc and all other expenses. I am able to manage all this with the Salary but i am always paycheck to paycheck.

How about you guys, do you feel the same or am i doing anything wrong or any suggestion for better cash flow management.

The question of over investing because i do not see any other place where i can cut my expenses.
