Thanks Winnipeg (from a marathon runner)

I don't speak for all the runners, but in this moment, on behalf of all of today's Manitoba Marathon runners, thank you for letting us take over the streets for the morning. We understand the inconvenience and can certainly see that traffic sucks (more than usual), but we're very grateful for this event every year.

I hope everyone is having a great day.

Another AI-generated council candidate ad, this one with an American flag.

They left the Google AI watermark in the bottom corner.

That's not a Wpg water treatment plant.

That's not a Wpg Transit stop, though it says Winnipeg Transit.

The meeting image is just a generic group of people.

The government building kinda looks like the Legislative Building, though it definitely isn't. Also, if you're running for city council, why would you include the provincial legislative building.

The council chambers is not the Wpg city council chambers. Also, IT HAS AN AMERICAN FLAG!!! WTF!!!

So embarrassing. This is not behaviour worthy of a city council candidate.

City council candidate running AI slop ads

So disappointing so see this.

Watermark from Google AI in the bottom right corner.

Different and both incorrect Winnipeg Transit signs.

Winnipeg Police car (not correctly painted) in the first image.

Wires running across the street (doesn't happen, at least in Winnipeg).

Sad. Lazy. Not city council-worthy.
