Dean's List Application

Is it possible to apply if I have a 2.25 grade? Pero sa NSTP naman yung 2.25. I tried emailing them kaso walang nag reply eh.

But I want to make sure of it po muna bago mag-apply sana.

Thank you so much!

BPSU ROTC

Edit: This post is just my 2 cents regarding the bullying that has happened. This is not solely about the grading issue that’s been circulating. I did mention it in the first half of this post because I also wanted to share my frustration regarding that situation. However, that issue is already partially resolved. With that said, let this be a space to call out those students involved in the bullying — not to degrade them personally, but to call out the behavior and mentality that honestly feels so outdated and disappointing. This post is directed toward the bullying itself and the people who participated in it.

If you're an ROTC student A.Y. 2025-2026 from BPSU, yk how frustrating the recent events are dahil sa naging grades ng mga students.

Most people just wanted clarification, explanation, or kahit simpleng updates man lang. Ilang araw tahimik. Minsan few to no response talaga.

Ginawa nilang insulto yung pagiging “Bisaya.” Like… seryoso?

Mas malala pa, may paggamit pa ng “ADHD” as an insult.

Walang may sabing madali ginagawa nila. Accountability and transparency aren’t attacks.

IS political when it comes to systems, transparency, accountability, and power dynamics.

Imagine using “Bisaya” as an insult habang future professionals kayo na expected mag-serve ng iba’t ibang klase ng tao regardless of background.

Very disgusting.

Very disappointing.

You guys know yourselves. Hindi porket hindi aware yung taong sinabihan niyo non, tama yon. Bullying yung ginawa niyo. Tuwang tuwa pa kayo dahil may authority figure na ginagatungan kayo.

Nakakahiya lang na after finishing ROTC, a program that teaches discipline, respect, professionalism, leadership, at honor, may mga taong kayang mangbully, mang-insulto, at mang-degrade ng kapwa just because frustrated yung tao at nagsalita.

That already goes against the very principles ROTC claims to uphold. Nasaan yung honor doon? Nasaan yung professionalism?

At kung may authority figure pang nanggatong instead na mag-deescalate, mas disappointing kasi sila dapat yung unang nagpapakita ng composure, accountability, at leadership under pressure, not encouraging ridicule.

You can disagree with someone’s delivery without dehumanizing them. ROTC teaches camaraderie and respect for fellow citizens, not mob mentality.

Also, to make this clear: I still do not tolerate bullying or hate directed toward the people involved in this matter. If some of you personally know anyone mentioned here, this is NOT an invitation to attack, harass, threaten, or degrade them back.

The point of this post is to call out the behavior and mentality that were shown, not to destroy someone personally. People should be held accountable for harmful actions and words, especially when they involve discrimination and mockery, but accountability should never turn into another form of bullying.

This is about awareness, reflection, and addressing the wrong behavior, not encouraging hate trains or online harassment.
