I’m very happy about my new bike. I bought it at my favourite local bike shop this week when I was shopping for new handlebars. Oops. I didn’t change a thing except add a sweet Memento rack and some V-Sixty pedals.
I think they made it just for me because it fits perfectly without any adjustments. 😅
I’ve already rode over 100 km.

Well, I went to my most favourite bike shop to talk about bars and while I was there I was browsing around and I came across this cutie. I couldn’t look away. I didn’t end up getting bars but I came home with a new bike.🤣
I’m in love and we rode over 50 km today on a variety of trails and roads. She’s a zippy little thing and I was very comfortable the whole ride. It’s like she was built for me.
I need some advice. My beloved bike was stolen over a year ago. I sold my other extremely heavy city cruiser. I was left with no bike. I panicked and got caught up in the excitement of bike buying and I bought a Liv Thrive.
I hate it.(for me)
It’s a really sweet bike for someone who wants this type of bike but I miss my Specialized Rockhopper (Rocky) so much. I have such buyers remorse.
I was right on the cusp of being too tall for size small and too short for the medium. The small seemed ridiculously small so I went with the medium. Now my hands fall asleep when I’m riding. I’m going to tinker around with it some more but maybe you might have some ideas for me? Can I put my beloved sparrow bars or something similar on it? How can I make it more of an X bike while I figure out this conundrum. 😬
