When I see her for the first time of the day, everything stops

all I can see are her eyes…

Eyes that may be dark but have an abyss…

Abyss so deep they shine like the stars…

Stars so bright they are vast like the ocean.

When I see her eyes it’s an eternity with in a second.

as she smiles when she sees me I can feel
nothing but the warmth of that smile,

the way it can ignite my smile like a flame in the snow

the one that was once a farce now a genuine smile I can rest on my soul.

This all when I see her for the first time.
