The topic this time: Departure times and Cabin Prep!
I had my departure time set for this morning at 5:30 am, and the climate set to cool. Why in the name of BIll would the car turn on the heated seats and steering wheel?
Anybody know a way to disable them, maybe permanently?
I keep having problems with the preferred charging times. Yesterday, I got home from work and plugged in my car. She instanly started charging, completely ignoring the preferred charging times I had set. It's not the first time it's happened. I'm on a time-of-use rate plan, so it's rather annoying when this comes up.
I tapped the "Charging Help" button in the app, and it took me to Ford's call center. The rep said "Oh, charging issue! I have to connect you to that department; please hold!" I thought I was calling "that department."
When I finally got a tech on the line, they told me their system is not working at the moment, and I should delete all the times and places and try again.
"When? Hours, days, months?" She didn't know.
"Will I be notified?"
"The app will push a notification when the issue is resolved."
I tried again about an hour later and was able to set everything back up, but, unsurprisingly, no push notification from the app.
I'm beginning to think that they're just saying that the system is screwed to anyone who calls, whenever.
