It's probably a dumb question, but why be afraid of asking it ? I've been playing a lot lately and last time I cleaned my mouthpiece, I had to unglue and throw away the mouthpiece cushion. I want to clean the mouthpiece again, but it bothers me to throw away this barely new cushion that is barely used. How do you do it? You put a new cushion every time you clean your mouthpiece? You clean it as rarely as possible? You never clean it ?

I just registered for a jazz camp for which I will be camping, thus sleeping in a tent with my Global Max bass clarinet for three nights. From what I remember of my camping days, nights can be quite humid and mornings very damp. The Max's case is very sturdy and I think waterproof, but I'm a bit worried about the pads getting too much humidity. Has anyone tried sleeping in a tent for at least three nights with its clarinet ? Is it a bad idea?

J'habite Côte-des-neiges, près du Mont-Royal, et nous avons beaucoup de bêtes : écureuils (en surnombre), marmottes, moufettes et peut-être d'autres nocturnes que j'ai jamais vus. L'une ou plusieurs d'entre elles mangent les feuilles et la tige de mes rudbeckies et de mes échinacées, si bien qu'aucun ne fleurit. Quelqu'un sait quelle bête ce serait et comment l'éloigner? Je vais bien sûr planter autre chose : quoi éviter pour ne pas me retrouver avec le même problème?
