Is Strava worth it?
I ran my first half marathon which I trained for using my own internet research and body feel. Basically no metrics other than Apple Watch GPS and HR. I finished in 2 hours, no injuries. Now I’m planning on training for a full marathon next year. I have an Apple Watch and don’t use any running apps currently but I have been looking into using Nike run app or Strava for some training guidance. Leaning towards Nike because I’m a cheap bastard and don’t want to pay $200/year for a Strava/Runna subscription, but I’m wondering if it would actually be worth it? Thoughts?
Edit: to clarify, I do have the free version of Strava which just tracks my runs. I meant to ask, is paying for the subscription version/runna worth it for training?
