as the title says i’m studying abroad in granada, and with my program came a 14 day eurail pass.

camera recommendations?
i have little experience with photography, but i’ve been looking to get into it more 😊
Budget: up to $1000 USD
Country: USA
Condition: new or used is fine with me!
Type of Camera: mirrorless/35mm film
Intended use: photography (i’m studying abroad soon, so i’d love to be able to take as many pictures as i can to document the whole trip)
If photography; what style: landscape
What features do you absolutely need: none come in mind, but i’d prefer a smaller/more compact camera
What features would be nice to have: decent battery life
Portability: as long as it fits in my purse, that’s perfect!
Cameras you're considering: i’ve been considering the fujifilm x100v. i love the way the pictures turn out on this camera—the “retro”/film vibe is something i look for in a camera. however, it is very expensive.
Cameras you already have: i currently don’t own any cameras
