guysss i dont know what to search for it !!! i have seen it sooo many times but idk where its from or how to look for it

i started my Tretinoin 0.04% 3 months ago and i feel like my skin has gotten worse? I have my 3 months follow up with my dermatologist in 2 weeks but im afraid there hasn't been any progress. originally i was suggested accutane, but i am kind of against all the extra stuff that comes with it, specially with summer right around the corner. I have gotten blood work done to find the root of my acne and all my tests came back 'within normal limits'

my current routine
AM
wash face with erborian cleansing gel
clindamycin phosphate 1% pads
aestura moisturizing cream
anua zero cast 50 spf

PM
wash with erborian cleansing oil
wash again with erborian cleansing gel
tretinoin .04% (mon-wed-fridays)
aestura moisturizing cream

not sure if im doing something wrong? or if this is the "it gets worse before it gets better" but i have been dealing with acne for too long and was not able to treat due to no insurance - now that i am able to treat i just feel so discouraged and i really do not want to get on accutane

any tips/suggestions i am open to listen to!
