The Dark Avengers Was a Wrong Step for The Sentry [Spoilers for both Dark Avengers and The Sentry 2026]

[In no way am i saying the dark avengers a a whole is bad just the way sentry was handled.]

The dark avengers run in my opinion made sentry a borderline one sided power scale fantasy because of the way it treated Sentry's representation of mental struggles and blew his powers out of proportion for the sake of "aura farming".

The way the run took Sentry's view on his mental illness and struggles and put it into a one line "dumb because he's mentally ill" box took the enjoyment out of the center of Sentry's character, in every situation he either is dumb and clueless or has his every action decided by someone else as if he's a child this made me want to just get to the next run of comics and forget everything.

The way the series killed Lindy was terrible and just served to harm Sentry's character in the long run thank god Paul brought her back in the new run.

I hate how Sentry was given Molecule manipulation powers it was just haven to him so he can aura farm against molecule man and no other purpose to the point it has never been used again to my knowledge, it was such a random addition to his power set that didn't really fit in the whole solar power type.

Am i the only one that feels this way?
