hey, everyone! i figured this was the best place to seek assistance abt this. i was re-listening to james blake's vocal debut (his self-titled album from 2010/2011) and i realized something. i was peeping his tenth track on the project: "i mind" and realized that it was either directly sampled or almost certainly served as inspiration for the melody of a hip-hop beat. what makes this a bit frustrating is that i can't recall which hip-hop track it is. not sure if it's a popular one for social media posts nowadays or not but i know i've heard it recently too. i've searched thru my listening history to no avail as of yet. if someone knows which song or beat it is, please lmk! i do believe it's a full track with lyrics and everything. but still uncertain. there's gotta be SOMEONE out there who knows 🥲
