2 of my proxmox nodes got e1000e hardware unit hang today, could be coincidence or any trigger ?

Node 1 : HP G5 i7 8700T,

Node 2: Lenovo M720 i5-8500T

Both running Proxmox 9, kernel 7.0.2-2-pve

Network interface card: Intel I219LM

Today First the node 1 got the error around morning 6 am. Then node 2 around afternoon 3pm. I checked the forums and found it's a known issue with old intel NIC. Both times I applied the segmentation offload off workaround as suggested in forums and it's fine so far.

But how come it happened suddenly today, i had setup proxmox on both 3 weeks ago and so far didn't face the issue. Could anything be the trigger? Or I can just leave it with the offload off workaround.

Me and my friend are in clan we have one castle each for us. The limit is still showing 2/2.

I restarted server multiple times after changing setting but its still 2 and I cannot invite another friend to my clan.

Whats a better centralized way to manage Docker across Proxmox VMs/Containers ?

I have 1 mini PC ubuntu server running some docker apps on it. Then i have another proxmox cluster with 2 nodes ( will add 1 more in future ) , to which i am slowly migrating my services to VMs/LxCs .

In the ubuntu server i have dockhand installed to monitor, manage docker containers which worked great till now since all my docker apps are on single server.

In the new Proxmox VM with docker, I installed the dockhand hawserr agent and added it as environment in dockhand. So if i create more VMs, LxCs basically i have to install the hawserr agent in each and add as new environment in dockhand.

Is there any way to add containers across the VMs and LxCs to a single docker environment ? Or any other software that can do this management in a better way ?

I have a Homelab setup with mini pcs and nas running various apps & services

- dns/proxy, tailscale

- plex + full arr stack

- synology nas apps : photos, drive

- vaultwarden

- excalidraw

- scheduled backups of servers, nas etc

I use uptime kuma for monitoring + cockpit for dashboards.

I want to get notifications delivered to my mobile in case anything goes down or some usage spikes , failed login attempts etc ( I will figure out the triggers).

What are better options - discord ,any chatbot through app like line/telegram, any Android app that can send push notifications from a server etc ?

Have always loved tinkering with networking , servers etc. Started with hdd into router , then a file sharing server in my pc ,old laptop as a server etc. Finally discovered mini pcs and how amazing they can be to efficiently setup a always on server. Then added a NAS to have my own cloud.

I work in IT , know docker very well , networking a bit. Setup most of things myself through online documentations but I gotta say having AI ( claude ) was very helpful for debugging some networking issues quickly. The whole process took a week+ for me. Loved the process end to end , after setting up evrything accessible through both home and outside network, seeing the dashboards and green on kuma is such a feeling man.

High level setup :

(Detailed diagram I have attached )

ISP ONT -> Router 1 -> 2.5g 5 port switch -> Router 2 ( connected through LAN)

Main server : Beelink EQ 14 Intel N150 16gb Ram 512gb SSD.

PC, Beelink and Synology NAS directly to switch.

All home smart devices connected to Router 2 wifi

Everything running ok docker on the beelink

- adguard + unbound dns for dns filter and local dns

- tailscale for public access

- nginx proxy manager for local reverse proxy

- cloudflare tunnel ( bought a cheap domain will use it for hosting some side projects )

- portainer, cockpit ,uptime kuma + telegram bot

- plex and qbittorrent

- homepage for central dashboard

- vaultwarden

Synology DS225+

- running out of box DSM

- 2*4TB

- mounted as NFS to beelink for plex media

- photos and document backup
