Can 'lot number' be repeated in a street?

Land titles will show Lot X of Plan Y. So if more than one plan in a street, could lot number be duplicated? The reason is trying to trace history of houses my father bought to renovate and sell long time ago. He cannot remember all of them. In tax records, there is one referred to just by lot number, rather than house number address. Search for that lot number came up with a house that was built a year after he stopped flipping houses. He said he didn't do any demolitions or vacant blocks. So wondering if there was another Lot X.

Joys of matching old paint

Patching some cracks in father's house, so need to paint those walls again. He kept cans of paint in back shed, probably 30 years old. So clean the dirt off, there are four with similar colours. 3 were Dulux, the other was "KMart"paint. Got the names of those colours and went to Hammerbarn. Only found a colour card for one. But by luck, that matches 2 bedrooms that need painting. Interestingly, written on the can was "laundry, dining + 1 bedroom", but it doesn't match the laundry. So that will need a complete repaint if a crack appears. As for the KMart paint, it was called "Clotted cream". It seems 3 paint companies make a Clotted Cream, but they all look different.

Crap bogging sliding door tracks

Door at my father's house became too hard for him to move, as he is getting frail. House was renovated circa 1990, so assumed rollers were kaput. Removed sliding door and found this in the tracks. It looks like cat hair stuck together with beeswax. Also similar gunk in bottom of door frame. It looks like assorted debris got pushed along as door opens and was compacted in this spot. It didn't come out easily; had to be gouged with a screwdriver. Now door slides better, not perfect, but at least he can manage it.
