paru filemanager option
Hi. I like to use paru to upgrade my packages.
I tried setting FileManager = less under [bin] in paru.conf but get:
error: unknown option 'FileManager' in section [options]
So, what are valid values for FileManager?

Hi everyone,
I recently encrypted my root partition. Since I’m using GRUB, I had to use PBKDF2 as per the Arch Wiki.
To improve boot times, I used the --pbkdf-force-iterations 5000 flag.
Anyway, I was thinking about the security.
Are 5000 iterations considered safe? And what would be a reasonable number?
Thanks in advance!
Because of all the actual situation regarding AUR, I installed aur-scan.

I also added a custom rule, since nothing in the default ruleset specifically flags Tor onion addresses showing up in a PKGBUILD or install script.

Anyway, what are your thoughts about aur-scan?
Hi,
I would like to power up my esp32 s3 dev board with a smartphone.
Does anybody know if this is possible?
The esp32 would be connected to an e ink display.
After connecting it, the smartphone should send a file to update the display. That's it. No WiFi needed from the esp32.
Hi all,
I'd like to announce DiffAlg for SageMath, a port of the DiffAlg Macaulay2 package to SageMath. See also, https://msp.org/jsag/2019/9-1/p02.xhtml
What it does
DiffAlg computes standard operations with polynomial differential forms and vector fields: exterior product, exterior differential, interior product (contraction), Lie derivative, pullback, singular ideals, involutivity of distributions, and kernel/image of linear operators on forms and vector fields. It works symbolically.
It's a little niche, I know — but I hope somebody out there finds it useful!
Any comment would be welcome!
