r/JourneyGame is now a sister subreddit of r/JourneyPS3!

Dear Companions in the Sands,

We’re excited to share with you that r/JourneyGame has been adopted by mods of this subreddit and has been reopened for public posting!

We hope to help companions on all platforms find their way in the community there, as well as echo chirps about community updates and event reminders for them to join. For now, both subreddits allow Journey posts from all platforms.

We encourage JourneyPS3 members to travel over to the new sister sub and have a chirp... Perhaps you'll find your next companion or favorite Journey moment there!

July Events: Scarfless Saturday (July 4th), Ruby Tuesday (July 14th), Journey Anew (July 17th), Spotlight Contest Deadline (July 26th), Silent Sunday (July 26th)

Events are a great opportunity to have fun and make new connections, and in July, these special dates are great times to hop back into the sands:

Saturday, July 4th - Scarfless Saturday

  • Travel without collecting any symbols.
  • Note: On some levels you may have a short scarf, use War Machines to get rid of them.

Tuesday, July 14th - Ruby Tuesday

  • Wear a Red Robe while travelling.

Friday, July 17th - Journey Anew

  • Return to the game and start a new journey, if you haven't played in a while.
  • Remember, 1st Time Players cannot meet a White Robe (except on iOS).

Sunday, July 26th - Spotlight Contest Deadline

Sunday, July 26th - Silent Sunday

  • No chirping! But if you happen to do it few times, it's okay.
  • We recommend finding a travel buddy by posting here in r/JourneyPS3 or join the Journey Discord and head to #request-a-companion, as randomly matched players in-game may be unaware of your intent.
  • Recommended travel times:
    • 5:00 AM EDT / 09:00 UTC / Sunday, 18:00 Japan Standard Time.
    • 5:30 PM EDT / 21:30 UTC / Monday, 06:30 Japan Standard Time.
