I'm curious about the longevity of this device with ADB...
So I have had a Gen 2 10" portal for about 3-4 days now, been working with it. Pretty nice little device - esp for the money.
But I did a factory reset tonight to start over and now I can't login via FB and the device won't go any further to let me turn ADB back on.
So if they (FB) are not going to allow these things to login soon with FB accounts and with the firmware/bootloader all locked, these will just be dead devices right? As in if you did a factory reset or got one after they would not allow login via FB any more.
Am I thinking wrong? I was ready to replace every google home I had with these, but now that I can't login (And I'm aware of this thread and am now waiting to see if I can get back in..https://www.reddit.com/r/FacebookPortal/comments/1u29dti/setup\_problem/).
Just seeing what the community might have to say about this before I buy more of them.
