Looking for your best American style CC cookie. Not a shortbread British “biscuit” or any French patisserie. Bonus for walnuts. Here’s mine:

#1 Cheeseboard. Just a small amount of oats, enough to make it chewy and give it substance,. Excellent quality of chocolate laced throughout.

#2 Hopkins Bakery (on Hopkins). A great old-fashioned tollhouse. Ask for a warm one.
