I just bought this bootleg vinyl, and I have absolutely no idea what it is. It's the first time I've ever seen it. It's not even listed on Discogs, and I can't find it anywhere else, including on eBay. I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Does anyone already have this record or know anything about it? I absolutely love the cover artwork.
Serious question, guys. I'm slowly building up my collection, but I'm thinking of completely avoiding bootlegs and unofficial releases of Prodigy's projects. There are just so many of them, it feels like there are more bootlegs than official releases.
As collectors, do you still buy bootlegs, or do you avoid them altogether ?
Here's my The Prodigy collection. Obviously, I'm still missing a lot of items. I just received the Spitfire vinyl, and my next goals are to find Scienide on vinyl and the Wind It Up remixes in excellent condition. I never buy anything below Very Good Plus (VG+).
Later on, I'll start collecting the cassette singles, but only after I've completed my CD collection. Most of the cassettes come from Poland and usually cost between €30 and €40.
My priority is to complete the vinyl collection first, then the CDs, and finally the cassettes. I've still got a long way to go.
I did my best to organize my entire The Prodigy collection, from the earliest releases to the most recent ones.
We live for the beats ! 🐜
Hi everyone,

I'd love to hear from collectors living in very hot climates, especially in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Southern France), as well as places like Arizona, Texas, Australia, etc.

We're expecting temperatures around 38°C (100°F) for several days where I live, and I'm curious how people protect their vinyl collections during heat waves.

My records are stored vertically in a Kallax shelf, away from windows and direct sunlight, with shutters closed during the day. They're not tightly packed, and every record is kept in a protective outer sleeve.

For those of you who regularly experience very hot summers:

- What indoor temperatures do your records reach?
- Have you ever had records warp from heat alone?
- Do you use air conditioning, fans, dehumidifiers, or any other precautions?
- How do you store your collection during prolonged heat waves?
- Have you noticed any long-term effects on records or jackets?

I'd be especially interested in hearing from collectors in Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, and other Mediterranean regions, where summer temperatures can stay extremely high for days or weeks.

Thanks for sharing your experiences!
I ended up with two copies because one seller sent me a defective copy with the wrong record inside. So I bought another one on Discogs, and this one is in good condition.

Guys, I feel like they’re butchering their track Smack My Bitch Up. It’s getting worse and worse, between the censored version of Smack My Bitch Up and the mashup with Locked Club – Kuliki… I’d almost rather they stopped playing it live altogether. Even on their paper tracklist, Smack My Bitch Up has been renamed “Smak…”
What do you think about it ?
