watercolour mixing swatches - a collection

I've learned that grids don't show the true diversity of hues you can achieve from just two colours.

most of these are a variation on colour mixing swatches, demonstrated by Jane Blundell and Denise Soden.

some are just abstract doodles with pleasing results.

the last one is testing out my limited CMY gouache palette from Holbein.

Daniel Smith Primatek series watercolours from dot cards (wet on wet pebble swatches)

DS are not entirely honest about the contents of this series, but the colours give some cool granulating effects.

I have a strong suspicion some of those greens contain phthalo greens.

the shimmery Sugilite sure is pretty, whether or not they added mica powder.
