Long Term Conspit Use Discussion *lots of text*

Hi Everyone, I have been using various Conspit gear for about a year now (which I guess in a way makes me someone who was ‘early’ to start buying products in their current form from them) and someone who has had some of the products in regular usage for a decent amount of time.

IMO Conspit offers some of the best gear in the market market place right now (not to mention value) and I encourage people towards their gear, however I hear people say they want to wait and see what happens on a more ‘long term’ basis with some of their products so I figured I’d put my own experience out there.

For ~ the past year I have been running the CPPLite 2 pedal set, 290gp, and a 300gt all off a Fanatec wheelbase. Everything I do is in iracing and occasionally in LMU, and I am a daily racer with (at this time) just over 3600 ranked iracing laps on the gear in 2026 and ~5k on them prior to this year (couldn’t even guess at closed practice and leagues… maybe double??). Not a ‘light’ user by any means haha.

Through my use and experience with the conspit products I have had an overall amazing experience and would recommend the products to just about anyone.

The pedals have been rock steady and are a breeze to adjust and they stay right where I leave them for months and months. Only maybe every 3 months or so do I need to just barely snug my pre-load knob because I have a millimeter of extra travel that has crept in. Probably more a symptom from my usage patterns than anything if I had to guess.

The 290gp has been a tremendous product. This wheel has become my go-to for prototype and formula racing and it nails that role 100% (it can do any role really). There are so many buttons, thumb wheels, rotaries and paddles that the only car that challenges the wheels capabilities is the AMG W12 or W13 on iracing, otherwise I’m always left with empty buttons looking for new pairings that I could use.

The 300gt is far and away the best $400 you can spend on a sim racing wheel. Everything about the wheel is quality from the paddles to the buttons to the way the rotaries change colors and the aluminum and carbon construction.

All of that being said, I’d be lying if I said that being someone who bought in at an early stage and uses the products pretty heavily didn’t mean I’ve run into some issues along the way. 2 to be exact.

First issue was with the 300GT. I bought my 300GT from their very first production run and there were apparently problems with the shifters keeping calibration that was at a board level on a small number of wheels. All in all it took about 1 week to get in touch with them via discord, diagnose the issue, and have a new wheel back on my rig. I was pretty impressed with how quick they were to get everything in motion and get a replacement out to me.

Second was another issue from being a ‘first run’ buyer and was from the control board on my CPP Lite pedals. At this point I was on their discord from the 300GT issue and they had made folks aware that the CPP Lite V1 control board needed replaced if you had one however I never checked mine. Sure enough my brake pedal stopped working and I checked and I had one. They had the new board out to me and I was back up in under a week again.

Their customer service was crazy good both times. Shipping from China to Ohio in just a few days I still don’t know how it worked, but it did and it’s left me someone who wouldn’t hesitate to spend with them even with the risk of being a ‘first run’ buyer on a new product or buying something tried and true at this point like the 300GT or 290GP.

The cherry on top of all of their support is their user base on Discord. They have regular users who are willing to help troubleshoot and test equipment, DIY mods (they seem to be very mod friendly, I’ve even seen them provide documentation for some mods), and have help on tap at just about at all hours.

TLDR: All in all, my ‘Long Term’ review of the Conspit product is that it is what it’s cracked up to be. High quality, fairly priced, reliable and backed by a company that you can interact directly with if you need help that aims to please its customers by directly interacting with regularly. I wouldn’t hesitate to be a day 1 new product buyer or an end of life-cycle product buyer as I have 100% confidence Conspit will help me (and that help will be fast) if there ever is to be an issue.

If anyone has specific questions I didn’t answer or wants me to go more in depth on something, let me know.

My goal was just to get some information on the long term and heavier usage of their products out there so if I missed what question you have about that long term usage, comment it and I’ll answer it.

What do you guys think about Conspit? Any experiences of your own that are similar?
