So my wife took this picture the other day and told me she also saw others around the property. That’s a very large amount of ants. Why are they doing this? Is it normal?

Apologies I have no other pictures - later she went back out to see and they were gone and I was out there today and didn’t see anything like this. Thanks in advance.
