Bought mine at the end of 2021. My phone is still alive now, I have very important things on it, I know it can die at any minute now at the 5 years mark, does it show any signs when it's about to die? Any way I can prevent that and make it last longer?
Just showing the longevity of a HiFiMAN headphone. The drivers are working just fine, the original cable broke after 3 years of usage, the pads wore off after about 2 years I have been through 2 original pads now I am using this cheap one. I live close to the beach and the headphones are literally rusting. Been thinking about buying this new headband.
What do you guys think about this wear? Normal or poor build quality?
I’ve been watching a lot of reviews, but none really answer my question. I want a clear upgrade from my HiFiMAN Sundara.
I tried the Sennheiser HD 800 S at a Sennheiser store and, to me, it sounded similar to the Sundara just brighter and with less bass. I always thought that it would be a night and day difference, but they didn't impress me at all.
Since I can’t audition many headphones where I live, which would be the more obvious upgrade, a clearly better headphone: the HEDDphone D1, Focal Clear, or HiFiMAN Arya stealth?
