chalazion driving me crazy :(

I’ve been lurking in this sub for a while, I’ve had this big chalazion on the underside of my lid since April. I was bad at treating it early because it was exam season, but I’ve been doing hot compresses (first with a wet cloth and now with a usb mask), massages (with finger and eye roller), chamomile tea bags, ocusoft wipes, dry eye drops for a couple months now. I feel like its not getting any better!
I can’t afford surgery, went to the optician and obviously they were no help. The only change I’ve noticed is this little lump forming on top of the chalazion - has anyone else had anything similar? Is it a sign that its draining or is it getting worse?
Any advice or success stories of a chalazion lasting as long as mine is much appreciated. It’s been making me self conscious for a long time :( I’m getting more and more tempted to just stab the mfer with a needle myself!
