Has anyone noticed D'Addario loop end strings failing more than they used to? This is the 3rd time I've had one break when installing fresh strings this year..

I've been using D'Addario phosphor bronze medium loop ends for probably 15 years now and have always been happy with them. Out of the last 4 string changes, I have had a loop end fail when installing 3 times now. Has anyone else noticed any QC issues with their stings lately?
