Hello,

As someone who cannot afford to go back to school for an MLIS but wants to find work in a museum, I am considering saving up for a more affordable Museum Studies certificate. My question is whether or not this is actually worth it? I worry that, aside from experience, a Master’s degree will always be seen as more valuable and that I may end up wasting time and money on a certificate that won’t change my prospects very much. Any advice or insights are appreciated!
