My wife and I as well as another couple got tickets, but didn't book a place to stay. Now there's seemingly nothing left. Looks like we're either at some pretty sketchy looking hotels (i.e. Clarion or Comfort Inn) or we're renting a lake front Airbnb 20+ minutes away.

How has it been in the past? Did rooms open up closer to the show? Or is the best bet to just grab whatever you can even if it's way out of town?

Also, looking at Airbnb maps is really hammering home how much Jason and the Truckers were just writing about what they know. I see Wilson Dam, St Florian, Zip City, etc. I can't find Kendale though.
