I am 40 and was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis when I was 11. In all that time, even during flares or the worst pain, my bloodwork (which I get every 3 months) has always been normal. Maybe a few things a little high or low, but nothing crazy.
That is, until the end of last year. My white count and platelets are consistently high, and almost all other levels (besides my kidney and liver) are all over the place. I feel the best I have in probably 2 years physically and my sed rate is 39, the highest it’s ever been. No new meds, not on steroids.
I’ve been to a hematologist who, while a dick, did run a myriad of tests and confirmed I don’t have a blood disease. But my bloodwork still continues to be abnormal.
I’m seeing my rheumatologist next week, but wanted to check in here and see if anyone else has experienced this?
