EPSWave: Wave editor and Patch Librarian for EPS-16+

Hi All,

EPSWave is the result of forking this older project into a new project. EPSWave is free and open source software, and it runs in your browser.

You can run it right here, nothing to install: https://eliggett.github.io/EPSWave/

Video demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhIjxJBXTsc

Some of the patches from the video: https://github.com/eliggett/EPSWave/tree/main/reference/disks

Features:

  • Download wavesamples from the EPS
  • Upload wavesamples from the EPS
  • Edit and play back wavesamples within the browser
  • Synthesize basic wave types (sine, saw, square, PWM, Super Saw)
  • Backup instruments from the EPS to EFE format
  • Upload instrument patches to the EPS in EFE format

I'd appreciate your feedback and ideas on this evolving project.

Announcing wfview version 2.22

wfview is open source software that can control and visualize data from many modern (IC-705/905/7300/7610/7710/9700, TS-890, FT-710) and some older (IC-718, for example) ham radios. wfview can also create a server instance for remote access with older radios that lack native networking support (ie, IC-718, IC-7300 MKI, etc). wfview runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows.

This version of wfview includes new client-side audio processing (DSP) features, which will let you both sound your best and hear your best. It also includes numerous bug fixes and community contributions. You can look over the commit log here if you're curious.

Also, for the first time, we are including a Linux AppImage in our downloads, which may be easier than asking users to self-compile. You can download wfview from our website here. Of course we still support using the build script, although it is getting difficult to maintain the script against so many unique package names.

You can find support for wfview at https://forum.wfview.org/

I hope you're enjoying the F/OSS Ham Radio community as much as we are.

Here are two videos you may find interesting on the audio processing: Transmit Audio Processing, and Receive Audio Processing.

73 from the wfview team,
