spearmint tea is incredible

at the beginning of the year i had some severe health issues, unrelated to pcos. as a result my pcos also worsened and my facial hair started growing out for the first time in my life. i noticed it at a family outing when i accidentally saw my reflection and the lighting made it look like I had a full on goatie, i wanted to crumble and disappear.

i challenged myself to drink spearmint tea, twice a day for at least a month to see if it can help with my sudden hair growth.

in the beginning i drank one cup in the morning and one at night, but after 2 weeks i noticed that it decreases my energy level so much that i could barely get out of bed. i was still determined to continue but now i just drink a bigger cup throughout the afternoon and evening. its been around a month of me doing this.

well this morning i was preening myself in the bathroom mirror, as one does, and i got to my dreaded chin hairs. i could immediately tell that less grew back than before i started this chalenge, so that was a motivation boost right off the start.

i started pulling them out and i noticed that they came out easier than before, now it didnt hurt at all. but what actually blew me away was that i could see the hormonal changes on the hairs!! the ends were all thicker and dark and they got thin and barely visible towards the roots.

with pcos i often feel like i do one thing right and fix a certain problem and right after that another one comes up. seeing how big a difference this simple daily action makes made me feel so hopeful that one day i can get a hold of all my symptoms and feel healthy again 🥹

baked him into a cake like a cartoon witch would

my sister had her birthday recently and we always joke about how our cat, Töpi has a head shaped like a hamburger and how we would just like to take a bite out. well i baked him into a cake and now we could eat his little face
