Would you like a side of enbrel with your chocolate?

Would you like a side of enbrel with your chocolate?

Fun story. My prescription was for auto injector pens but my useless GP screwed it up and gave me syringes instead. Although a little more scary, I watched a few "how to's" and rolled with it.

Prednisone

How prevelant are behavior/mood changes on prednisone and at what dose/duration? Have you had different reactions from different courses? Interested in peoples experiences, please!

My experience is with 20mg for 20+ days or 10mg for over a month. For me, I find it causes behavior changes in increased sensativity/reactivness, irritability, and being in a constant state of tension/anxiety. Like how someone might feel before and while playing in an important competition. It sucks shutting down to people from feeling constantly tormented by something no one can even see.

Workplace relations

Hope I can post this here.

I've got a workmate that despite being considerably older, have gotten on well with. Have received plenty of training and advice from him as well as shared interest in the job and creating a space for eachother to vent about work. However, we've stopped communicating with eachother and I'm not really sure why. While it's not like I'm perfect, he took the opportunity to attack my character when I asked why he'd been shitty with me and why he'd been unhappy. I'm emotionally invested in him and want to go and fix but know it can't come from me. There doesn't seem to be any advice on "how to deal with difficult people when they're/you want to be your friend."

Recently had debridement and synovectomy of my post tib tendon. Sample sent for histology. What gives with recovery times? Got a med certificate for 3 weeks off work (returning tomorrow) but anything I can find online says 6+ weeks. Been in moon boot with instructions of weight bearing as tolerated for 2 weeks. Walking pretty good now but still sore. If I go back to work am I just going to fucker it up more? Ive got similar lvl of as pre surgery now with only a small amount of inflimation at the incision left. How much better does it get? Semi physical job returning with reduced hrs tomorrow (yay).
