Hello! 2nd time sheltie owner with a question about Sheltie ears--

My 6 month old puppy's ears are generally pretty floppy, but every once in a while the one ear stands up straight. Is this something that would be worth glueing/taping or is it too late for that? I know the top is supposed to tip forward whereas hers flop pretty far. Love the look of the tipped ears, I'm just not sure what's happening here.

My first sheltie's ears were glued when we got her but when I got this girl, the breeder said we shouldn't need to glue them... now I'm questioning if we should have?

Anyway, any thoughts appreciated!! Love this girl, just confused 🤷🏼‍♀️
