Just curious if anyone here has challenged a manager saying you have to drive 2.5 hours to a terminal to do a rules refresher after being laid off for 5 months even if your rules card is still valid for another year. Wouldn't it make more sense to just do some familiarizing? Will the union support this? I'm having car problems and just wonder if contacting a manager and suggesting is a wise idea. i don't necessarily want to cause a conflict either though and risk painting a target on my back if that makes sense. Any opinion?
