The Dragon’s Husband by Ezreal Carter

The Dragon’s Husband by Ezreal Carter

I just finished {The Dragon’s Husband by Ezreal Carter} and I really enjoyed it. It doesn’t seem to be very well known or have many reviews, so I wanted to give it a shoutout here in case anyone might be interested.

It’s a dragon shifter romance with a shifter/human pairing. The premise is that Bryn, a human prince from a dying kingdom, wants to save his sister from having to marry a dragon prince. They don’t know much about the dragon race, but they’re worried the dragons might abuse or hurt the sister. Lo and behold, when Bryn arrives in the dragon kingdom, he discovers he is the dragon prince’s mate and from there, they both have to work to convince the rest of the dragon kingdom that they’re meant to be.

It’s a pretty standard romance despite having dragon shifters. Nothing super kinky, but the smut is open door. The writing style is a bit unique and lengthy, but I liked it. Overall, I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. Anyway, thought I’d give it a rec.

Dragon/Human Fated Mates

Hello y’all,

The stupid Facebook AI ads got me again and now I’m looking for a dragon shifter/human fated mates romance.

The AI movie was historical fantasy. The dragon-shifter character was a prince, I believe, while the human was a dragon hunter. The dragon-shifter saves the human from something and then realizes they’re fated mates and has to try and convince the human to accept him and let him in.

Does anyone know of any books with similar vibes?

ISO Hockey Romance with Fiery&CoolCalmCollected Pairing

Hey y’all,

So the Facebook ads got to me. I saw a video clip for a weird AI hockey romance “movie” - one of those things you probably have to pay up the butt for 1-minute at a time. Anyway, I don’t support that nonsense, but the vibes were definitely intriguing.

So I’m looking for a hockey/college/sports romance type book where one character is cool, calm and collected, and is confident in their sexuality. While the other character is easily flustered, a bit outraged and going through their gay awakening.

Bonus points for D/s vibes or Daddy/boy. I don’t really have any major “no-nos,” but dark romance/bully romance is not my fave.

And obvs, I’ve read Heated Rivalry. 😂

What jobs can you do with teacher certification and experience?

I’ve been a teacher for the past 7 years and for half of that time, I have been miserable. Teaching is the only job I ever wanted to do (ever since I was a kid) and everything I have ever done was geared towards one day being a teacher - my volunteer experience, my work experience, all my college and uni coursework. I’ve always loved working with kids and I love learning and helping kids to learn. Unfortunately, as I’ve discovered, being a classroom teacher nowadays doesn’t actually involve much teaching. Instead we are playing whack-a-mole with 4 or 5 students demonstrating outrageous behaviours that derail the rest of the class and keep everyone from learning.

My current plan is to try and get out of a classroom teacher role and into a non-enrolling teacher role (likely in ELL). However, in case that doesn’t work out, I’m wondering what other jobs people have gone into after leaving the teaching profession? Preferably something where I can make a livable income and not have to go back to uni for 3-4 years first.

▲ 99 r/Roses

Last summer, I bought this beautiful rose bush with all these different coloured roses. Sadly, about two weeks after I got it, a deer came by and ate all the blooms right off. I’ve tried to take care of the plant through the winter and spring, hoping it would bloom again but it looks like a totally different plant now! Is there any way to try and save it?
