[FO] Tatreez Camel

Finally finished “Tatreez Camel” by Gaza is Kind. I’m so happy with how it turned out. Even my stitching buddy’s little threads make an appearance.

Edit to add: It hasn’t been washed or ironed yet. Hopefully the advice I received on ironing will ensure I don’t have wrinkles this time!

[CHAT] Issues with ironing

Ahoy mates! I have been trying to iron my pieces before trying to frame them and the wrinkles won’t come out. Does anyone have any advice? I have a TFal Ultraguide Steam Iron. Thanks!

Vet approved kitty

The vet said my little lady was the best kitty she treated this week :). With her FIV+ status, she has to go to the vet more often than most kitties and she’s always so scared and shakes during her visits. Hearing this made me so proud of her - being calm despite being scared. She’s such a good girl.

[CHAT] Which first - fabric or pattern?

Ahoy mateys - I have a question for you when it comes to picking a project: Do you (a) buy a fabric that you like and then find a pattern for it later, (b) buy a pattern and then order a fabric for that pattern, or (c) both.

I’m asking because I’ve found myself in the situation of having a bunch of fabric and a bunch of patterns, but none of them seem to really go together. I’ve had two great patterns whose projects didn’t come out very well because I used the wrong fabric colour.

Anyway, curious to hear others thoughts/what they do.
