Back pain?
Does anyone else get severe back pain before their period? I know I'm about to have a cycle when my stomach is bloated beyond belief and my lower back pain kicks in....

I have been off of birth control since 2024 after being on it for 10 years. In 1.5 years, I had probably 3 natural periods before getting diagnosed with PCOS in January of this year. One of them lasted six weeks and it was beyond heavy and draining. I look back at pictures from then and I just look so sickly.
Flash forward to now, I have been on metformin for a month. I am now on my third period of June. I feel pathetic because when I am on my period (whether it was a provera bleed or not) I genuinely don't feel like doing anything. It makes me feel pathetic because MANY people get menstrual cycles and are able to live a normal life. On tuesday at work I was in so much pain and didn't know why (day before the bleeding started) and was having severe GI issues. It literally drains the life out of me.
I don't know. I am just looking for a place to vent because I feel bad about myself. All of my friends get periods and they don't act like this so they don't understand. Being on my third period of the month is depressing and my doctor says I need to wait three months before they investigate which means it's going to be a long summer.
I was diagnosed with PCOS this past January and after much back and forth with doctors and insurance, I decided to try metformin to help with symptoms.

I do not get a natural period and have to take provera to bring it on. A week and a half after beginning metformin, my period came. Those on metformin, is this typical? I'm happy to not have to take the provera because I hate it...
I just began using a cpap a few weeks ago after getting diagnosed with sleep apnea in March. For the most part, I sleep through the night with my machine. I wake up and will have between 5-7 hours of machine usage. I look on the myair app and often have scores between 80-100.
However, I have felt more than ever I need to take naps. I usually would take one very long nap on Saturdays as my "catch up" on sleep day... but now I'm napping when I get home from work, which I haven't done since my first year as a teacher.
Is this typical getting used to the mask stuff? I'm just confused because my app says I only average 1-2 events per hour; so why am I so tired ???
