How to Identify Weak Spot in a Search Result | WiseSERP

Disclosure: I built WiseSERP, and the mods approved this post. Here's an honest look at what it does, what it doesn't, and who it's for.

Who I am: I'm a senior Vue developer with 6+ years of experience building dashboards and admin panels. I run a few content sites and got tired of paying $50–130/month for SEO tools. So I built the tool I wanted for my own sites.

What is WiseSERP?

It's an SEO dashboard powered by DataForSEO and Google Search Console (GSC). Every result is saved, so revisiting a search doesn't cost you anything.

What it does well

  • SERP analysis: Evaluates the top 10 results using page and domain authority to estimate whether ranking on page one is realistic for your site. About $0.026 per keyword.
  • Google Search Console: Find quick wins (positions 4–20), track ranking changes, identify pages losing clicks, and view index status and Core Web Vitals.
  • One workspace: See what you already rank for alongside the competitors you're up against.
  • Transparent costs: You see the cost before every paid request. No surprise bills.

Where it falls short

  • No rank tracker or site audit yet. Both are on the roadmap.
  • Backlink data comes from DataForSEO, not Ahrefs. Results will differ, and Ahrefs may find more links.
  • Keyword Difficulty scores won't match Ahrefs or Semrush.
  • Google sign-in only.
  • The free plan supports one site.
  • It's a new, solo-built product, so expect some rough edges.

Pricing

  • Lite - Free: Access to every module. Connect your own DataForSEO API key and pay them directly. WiseSERP adds no markup. New DataForSEO accounts get $1 in credit.
  • Starter - Pay as you go: Top up from $10. DataForSEO's prices + 30% to cover infrastructure.
  • Pro - $20/month: Includes $20 in credits, with unused credits rolling over.

Who it's not for: If you need a large backlink index, agency reporting, or rank tracking today, Ahrefs or another established suite is probably a better fit.

Early adopters: The first 100 users get an Early Adopter badge, early access to beta modules, and 10% off their first top-up.

I'd love your honest feedback. Try it on a site you know well and tell me what you think, good or bad. Does the SERP verdict match your expectations? What's missing? What would stop you from using it?

I'll reply to every comment and share a follow-up in a few weeks explaining what changed based on your feedback.

I kept losing my DataForSEO results in JSON, so I built a dashboard that keeps them (free with your own key)

Free with your own API key, Early Adopter spots open

I've been a frontend developer for 6 years, mostly building dashboards and admin panels, and I run a few content sites on the side.

I've paid for SEO tools ranging from $50–$130/month and kept seeing the same problem: lots of data, little "what should I do next", and paying for features I never use.

DataForSEO solved the data problem. It's cheap and used by many SEO tools, but the results come back as JSON/MCP output. Once you close the tab, they're gone, and you pay again to get them.

So I built WiseSERP: a dashboard on top of DataForSEO + Search Console that makes the data useful and saves every result.

What's in it:

  • Keyword research: volume, KD, CPC, intent, trends
  • SERP analysis: top 10 + authority + a verdict on whether page 1 is realistic
  • Backlink overview for any domain
  • Search Console: rank movers, quick wins (positions 4–20), lost clicks
  • Domain analysis (beta)
  • Every result is saved, so reopening a search costs nothing

Pricing: On Lite, connect your own DataForSEO key and use every module. DataForSEO charges you directly, and I add nothing.

A new DataForSEO account includes $1 credit - roughly 11 keyword searches or 38 SERP analyses.

Don't want to set up DataForSEO? You can top up from $10 at DataForSEO's price + 30%. That margin covers the servers.

I'm not trying to build another $99/month SEO subscription. I want a tool I'd actually use myself, priced so the people who need it can afford it.

What's next: rank tracker, site audit, content writer, and an AI assistant that turns your data into next steps. The roadmap follows votes on the feedback board.

The first 100 users get an Early Adopter badge, beta access, and 10% off their first top-up. 97 spots remain.

I'd love your feedback:

  1. Run it on a site you know well. Does the SERP verdict match your gut?
  2. What's missing, broken, or the next SEO workflow you'd want?

Has anyone used the GLM-5.3 Trial Pack?

Does the Trial Pack only include GLM-5.3, or does it also cover GLM-5.3-Flash?
https://z.ai/usage-bundles

The product page describes it as the "flagship" model with 1M lossless context, but it never mentions Flash, so I'm not sure if the tokens work with both models or just the flagship.

For those who don't know the pack details: it's $19.90 (discounted from $34) for 20 Million Tokens, valid for 3 months, limited to 1 per user. It's advertised with advantages like "long-range execution" and "complex reasoning."

My use case is medium-level coding, content writing, and some daily tasks. My plan is to save the flagship tokens for harder stuff like architecture decisions and complex debugging, and use Flash for everyday requests. But that plan only makes sense if the pack covers Flash too, or if Flash is cheap enough separately on pay-as-you-go.

So if you've bought it: did the 20M tokens work when calling glm-5.3-flash? Does it deduct from the same pool? Also curious about any gotchas - rate limits, expiry surprises, anything unexpected.

Thanks in advance!
