I got a job! What do I wear?

New to the field! Joined a reputable hospital and I’m so excited!! I’ll be working 12’s, nights 2 days/week. I understand that in our textbook it says streetwear is appropriate because the hospital provides scrubs for you, but I’m wondering if sweatpants is common or jeans/ what kind of shirts? Business casual? Is it too much to buy a pair of scrubs only to change out of them and into the ones provided? Also any tips for my first week?

why do people have security cameras in their bedrooms?

i always see funny videos but when its filmed from a security camera over someone’s bed it’s all I wonder. to each their own, if it’s truly used for security purposes. but i wouldn’t be able to relax if there was a camera pointed at me every night.

provisional licensee can’t find work

(California) I got my provisional license back in March and i’ve been applying everywhere I can to complete my 400 hours, but I haven’t heard back from any of these places. Now we’re approaching June and I’m panicking. I really don’t want to retake this test in August. Any job search tips?? I feel like I also have transferrable skills for this field which I state in my resume and cover letters (state board sanitation standards with a different license). Idk i guess i’m just freaking out and i’m so eager to make the next step but i feel set back everytime i don’t hear back from anyone and my expiration date is looming over me.
