When will the sentiment around data centers change?

I have a very strong feeling that the current sentiment around AI and data centers are hugely in part due to the economic situation of the west at the moment. Gen Alpha will grow up with the tech, just like Gen Z grew up with the internet.

Do you see public sentiment changing in a few years?

Anyone else just never leave the house?

So I tried to have my once a month day out and just ended up depressed. Spent $13 on a horror movie ticket only for teenagers to be laughing the entire time behind me and a cuddling couple in front of me (can't afford even coffee dates yay!) and bought a boba tea for $12 and $24 on lunch. Ended up just regretting it so I'm back to not leaving the house for the rest of the month to save money other than the weekly grocery run. Luckily I work from home so not all bad.

Saagar cut off JD?

He just referred to knowing JD "in a past life" in this episode so they're no longer besties I'm guessing? We're getting unfiltered Saagar now?

Any pre matador fans here?

Huge word dump so bear with me. I found CSH when I was like 15-16? I'm 28 now so pushing 30 obv but at the time ToS hadn't even been released yet. I remember when the news of him being signed happened and when ToS got released and I was just confused why he re-recorded tracks he already made. It made no sense to me but I wrote it off at the time as like a way to make money for the label. I saw two of their shows in Austin around 2015 and I went to all 4 of their Texas dates for the ToD tour. I went by taking cheap greyhound buses, I still only like a handful of songs from it due to how different it was and still is for me. I read about fans preferring the new (lol now) Twin Fantasy and it blows my mind. At the time I felt like there was no need to re-record such a masterpiece of an album. And after the new twin fantasy I just never kept track with the band again due to the change of the writing of the lyrics, production, the addition of more members which changed the music, the priority of tracks being more radio friendly and thus commercial friendly, it just didn't feel the same anymore.

I still listen to pre matador songs to this day, but it seems like most of the fanbase is post matador now, which makes sense I guess. Obviously Will changed, but my thought was the lo-fi production was a feature not a bug, but I guess it never was and was just a limitation of what he had at the time. It's just a weird experience reading about fans who have their whole catalog when they discovered them, when I only had the pre matador stuff and experienced the more produced stuff as it came out and more what they sound like now. It's bizarre to me, truly.

Are random night door rings a thing in dense cities?

It's 9:30pm right now and I got a ring that was like 30 seconds long, I answer and as soon as I answer I hear "perdon perdon" in a strong accent that I've never recognized.

I never leave my apartment so my first assumption was someone checking if it's empty or something. I'm in a tourist-y area in BCN.

Railway is down, their google cloud account got blocked

So railway is down, and all my production .env keys are on there without me able to access them to export the project to another hosting service. They apparently got suspended from their google cloud account, leading to everyone's sites going down.

Go to their site, you'll see.
