Disk disabled - can I rebuild using the same disk?
I recently had a couple of power outages due to bad weather. I noticed one of my disks is now disabled and the contents are emulated. I host my Plex server from a Dell Optiplex, connected via USB cable to this HDD enclosure. I have 3 disks for storage and 1 for parity.
What I tried:
- Rebooting my server multiple times
- Removing the disks and reconnecting them
- I ran an extended SMART test on it: results
- Checked that the emulated content looks good
Based on what I can find online, it seems like the drive is fine but I'm not 100% confident at interpreting the SMART report.
Should I remove the drive from my array? I'd rather not buy a new HDD with current prices and I have enough storage on my other disks.
Can I rebuild the disk onto itself using these instructions?
