Conjunctivitis/eye infection in kit?
Covering the picture because it's kinda gnarly.
2.5 week old kit, currently with mom and 6 siblings. None of the others have any kind of infection. I just noticed it this morning.Kit is acting normally and does not seem to be in any distress.
Everything I've read about conjunctivitis says that immediate antibiotics are required to clear it up. I live in an area where even emergency care is difficult to get quickly, and it can take weeks to get regular vet appointments scheduled. Since this is a bun destined for the freezer, I'm also hesitant to spend hundreds of dollars for an emergency vet visit.
Is this a situation where it would be better to cull before it gets worse? I've never dealt with eye infections before (or infections of any kind, in the last 3 years buns have been extremely healthy)
