Stat Check: Justin Brownlee just finished the Finals with 267 total points (38.14 PPG). Where does this rank in modern PBA history?

I just did the math sa nakakabaliw na 7-game Finals series ni JB against TNT. Here is the exact game-by-game scoring breakdown:

  • Game 1: 23 pts
  • Game 2: 35 pts
  • Game 3: 41 pts
  • Game 4: 32 pts
  • Game 5: 54 pts
  • Game 6: 52 pts
  • Game 7: 30 pts
  • Total: 267 Points | Average: 38.14 PPG

Of course, alam naman natin na untouchable yung all-time records ng old-school imports noong late 80s and early 90s like Carlos Briggs (who averaged 62.1 PPG in the '89 Finals) or Tony Harris, since high-scoring era talaga noon.

Pero for the modern era (the last 20–30 years), is 267 total points in a single series the highest we've ever seen? To drop back-to-back 50-pointers in the Finals, then follow it up with a 30-point masterpiece in a do-or-die Game 7 is just historic.

Since PBA historical databases are incredibly hard to find online, baka may mga stat-heads dito na may data. Where does this exact 267-point series rank in modern PBA history?
