I have been working on this xcompmgr fork for a while, and here it is! alongside the zoom, there are shadows, windows fading etc.

It is compatible with any wm but will work as expect only on wms that map/unmap windows on workspace change (so, any modern wm).

The wm on the video is vxwm.

By the way, it has LESS loc than xcompmgr it self.
