I saw that Amouroud released Oud Vanille, and I’m waiting on a sample of Vertus Vanilla Oud. It got me wondering what other masculine-leaning vanillas are out there, preferably without tobacco.
Lists only tell me so much, and Parfumo’s masculine/feminine ratings don’t always line up with how I smell things. What would you recommend?
I gave myself a constraint. 5 slots only and each one has to earn it. Warm weather, cold weather, date night, office, easy daily grab. No unlimited budget here, just trying to be intentional about quality over quantity.

Cold weather I'm mostly decided on. Tauer L'Air du Desert Marocain. There's something about it that I haven't found anywhere else. Hard to name exactly but that's kind of the point.

Date night is Nishane Fan Your Flames. Slot locked down.

Warm weather is the one that has me genuinely impressed. Sampled Fragrance DuBois Oud Bleu Intense and what those ingredients do together doesn't make sense on paper. Olfactory magic is the only way I can describe it. Fingers crossed it shows up for Father's Day.

Office, I'm stuck. Has to work in a shared space but I don't want something inoffensive, still needs to be intersting.
