TX Snap Eligibility?

I’m in a bit of a weird situation where I am currently enrolled in university in the UK but will be moving back to the US (I’m a US Citizen) in September but I don’t officially graduate/walk the stage until December.

I won’t have a job lined up and hope to apply for SNAP benefits once I arrive back in the US. Am I eligible for SNAP benefits since my degree is over but I just haven’t walked the stage yet / is the food stamps office able to know i’m a student if it’s over seas?

Thank you!

Post-Purchase?

I can’t find much resources for what the process is after getting the finance deal on a car. This would be my first car so I am not sure how the insurance process works, I assume I wouldn’t be let off the lot with the car so can I just open a policy online while at the dealership or how does that work? Past that, how does registering the car, getting a license plate, etc. work? (TX for context)

Do I need a permanent address or proof of residency? I would have a residential mailing address but would not have residency in Texas. Thank you!

AMA: Graduated High School at 14

I graduated at the age of 14 in the HS class of 2020. I had started dual enrollment college courses in 7th grade and during 8th grade I moved which allowed me to skip up to 9th grade at the age of 13, and COVID hit before 10th grade allowing me to switch to online school and complete 3 years of education in that one year.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Finance last year at the age of 18, and am currently doing a Master’s in Finance (because what 18 year old wants to enter the work force?). It’s been a very different experience over the past few years and am interested to see if anybody who followed a more “normal” path may have any questions for me!

I’m currently 20 and graduating this December and hoping(!) to get a decently paying job!
