Some photos a friend took of my quilt
I asked a photographer friend to take photos of my quilt and this was his lovely interpretation. I'll post a photo of the full quilt when I get it back, lol.

Using a thrifted bed sheet for the alternating squares. Lots of thrifted pillowcases in this one.
Ok, honestly I just wanted to work on my quilt. Well, that and the job was really stressful. Like, who wants to work a stressful job? WTF.
I'm calling it a squished nine patch 😄
I've had this design in my head for a while, finally got some jelly roll pieces from a friend! Thrifted bedsheet will be the background.
If anyone can tell me how to properly start a big stitch so that my embroidery thread knots are hidden, I would appreciate it. I couldn't 'pull them through' because they were so big. I added some hand stitching to this quilt to give an edge to the blue patches so they didn't visually bleed into the border, but I didn't know how to hide the knots 😞
This is quilted on a longarm. From thrifted fabric, mostly bedsheets and men's shirts.
Working with some stripes today, I wish I had more!
You probably already have one in your box of machine attachments. It screws into the holes in the baseplate of your machine and can be adjusted and unscrewed with the thumbscrew in 3 seconds. Set it up for 1/4" when you are piecing.
May all your seams nest and all your quilts be fluffy! Have a good day.
Something I'm putting together from a bed sheet with text that I found on the street.
It was very long and cold. Zone 5b.
This is a two minute video of how I design and execute a quilt.
Using thifted fabric and some of their clothes. Inspired by the films Beatlejuice and The Craft.
