Am I crazy or is the individual downtime per firewall significantly less in a stand alone environment vs. Active/Passive HA environment?

Did a number of quarterly updates this month, from various versions, to the latest. I run constant pings to internal/external monitoring ips to see when to log back in.

Single firewall sites had downtime that was usually 80-100 seconds.

Did 3 HA sites and each individual unit was down for 4-600 seconds.
