I've passed my theory test and will be doing my CBT soon.

I'm torn between getting a Yamaha MT-125 (bit nervous about the idea of gears but I hear they're great bikes for beginners) or a Maeving RM2 for nipping from A to B around my city. I'm not too fussed about getting my full license but ideally I would like to get my A1 so I can ride with a pillion in the future.

What are people's experiences and how much do you pay for insurance etc?

Appreciate any advice 🙌
