Hi everyone

So my ex partner’s domestic worker contacted me and asked if I knew of any sheltering options (paid is acceptable but obviously extremely cheap) for her and her family, as they do not currently feel safe at their current place of residence— a high density area where xenophobic rhetoric is on the rise. I am not currently in the country nor do I have any friends on the ground who can assist. It’ll be for 6 people and 1 one child. They are currently located in the Northern Suburbs but I believe any safe, secure area where their identity won’t be a bone of contention, is desired.

I have also advised her to try reaching out to the family that currently employs her for assistance, however, I sense that she is worried about putting a strain on the professional aspect of that dynamic so I am trying to do my part in assisting in any way.
